Hey all! If you're an expat from the U.S., then welcome to the Tokyo U.S. Expat Meetup Group! We'll meet a couple of times a month at spots around Tokyo and try to have as much fun as possible. Maybe we can schedule some trips too... the beach, Kyoto, Osaka? All ages, races, genders are welcome. The only requirement is that you are interested in meeting new people and having a good time. We don't check your citizenship, but majority of members have lived in U.S. and/ or the U.S. citizens. See you soon!!

Shimokitazawa is a hip neighborhood west of Shibuya that most foreigners never visit. It's an eclectic mix bars, cafes live music venues, used clothing stores and restaurants. It's full of musicians and artists and has a really unique feel.
