Happy Halloween

Halloween...in the US it means trick o'treats, bobbing for apples, and dressing up! Here in Moscow it means drinking! Dressing up is optional but it would be great to see some fun costumes. I know it is not officially Halloween but many of us have house parties and such to go to on the official night and I did not want the meetup to conflict.

I hope everyone will at least make an appearance. Expat member turnout has not been ideal and while I am happy for Russians to attend our events it is not the reason why events are planned. I was away for the summer and apologize for a lack of meetups. That being said, if expat member turnout is low for this event, I will be questioning the future of this meetup group. It kills me to even say that because I have met some of my closest friends through this group.

The event will take place at Papa's Place a regular expat watering hole. We will have tables in the back but everyone is to order drinks at the bar which will be easier for everyone. They will be playing British Pop so it should be a lively night...there might even be bobbing for apples!

Everyone has almost two weeks notice so no excuses! Lots of new members have been added and it would be great to have a big turn out~
