The U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Robert H. Tuttle,
would like to invite any interested Americans and their guests
to a special Thanksgiving Day Service on November 27th at St.
Paul's Cathedral. The event is free to the public and is a
unique way to begin the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.

The service begins at 11 a.m., though visitors should arrive to
St. Paul’s no later than 10:30 a.m. and enter via the West end
of the Cathedral. For more information about the event please

Please let any other of your American friends or others know
about the event as the seating capacity of St. Paul’s is quite
large.

    • “ Parking motorcycle delayed me so did not meet anyone. I eventually parked on pavement (sorry sidewalk). No ticket on return. God is good! Organ was far too loud, for too long. I had to leave and come back in when service started. ”
    • “ I came along as a British visitor as wanted to experience a Thanksgiving Service. Was an interesting experience, and would have been nice of I could have met with some Americans from the Meetup to talk about Thankstgiving day. I saw one other person from the other American Meetup, but they were involved in their own group. I should perhaps have gone along with another British friend, and maybe had lunch afterwards. Shame I didn't know anyone from this Meetup, although I looked out for some people from the Obama Meetup, too many comintg out from St Pauls and individuals could have easily been missed. Next time might be worth saying where people will be meeting so that non-Americans can meet up with them at such a big event!! ”
