Royal Festival Hall

Southbank Centre is located in on the Thames riverside between Golden Jubilee and Waterloo Bridges, in Central London. The Royal Festival Hall stands at the heart of Southbank Centre complex. Opened in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain, the Hall is one of the world's leading performance venues.

Let us enjoy the beautiful weather and a panoramic view of the river thames. The Royal festival hall has a laid back atmosphere. Outside of the Royal festival hall, there is ample seating. Just look for the meetup sign and come on over. Rain or shine, we will be outside, so don't forget your umbrellas just incase. There is an outdoor bar that we can utilize. For those of you that have never been there, the Royal festival Hall is situated above the restaurants mentioned below.

For all those who get a bit hungry after drinking, you won't have to venture far. Choose from the popular wagamama noodle bar for fresh and nutritious food, Strada for a superb Italian menu including pizza, the award winning family restaurant Giraffe, or the superb choice offered by cafe EAT.

Alongside the walkway which leads to the Hungerford Bridge, Festival Terrace has several cafes and restaurants including South American restaurant Las Iguanas, and Belgian bakery Le Pain Quotidien. They are joined by Caffè Vergnano 1882, Feng Sushi and dim sum restaurant Ping Pong.

Buses stop on Waterloo Bridge, in York Road, in Belvedere Road and in Stamford Street.
