What do you find to be the biggest cultural differences between Americans and French? (non-pc answers encouraged)

"Maybe it's more of an 'Anglo-American' thing, but the biggest cultural difference I see in France is the lack of small, polite gestures. For example, saying 'excuse me' when wanting to pass someone, or 'sorry' if you run into someone."
