Details
I know what you are thinking, "What could be worse than a Friday night in busy Leicester Square" You couldn't be further wrong.
Don Hewitson's is a very cosy, very quiet Alecante cavern style wine bar. There is even great tapas on the menu as well as hot and cold horsdovrs, mezze salads and a wide variety of cheeses on offer.
The main menu is on bottled wines, and they have a corker (Er...) of a selection of Californian, Austrialian and of course Continental wines. Most moderately priced. The philosophy of Don Hewitsons is "Life is too short to drink bad wine"
Don Hewitsons is hidden away just off the North Eastern entrance to Leicester Square which is Cranbourn Street, tucked between cheap take away pizza joints. You'd never know it was there! Look for us in the far back of the place!
And just for the record...it's Ly- ses-ter not Lester [Leicester] Square ; ) ...at least for one night!
See you there!
