HAMMERSMITH The Dove Inn, on the Thames

Meeting Description
Organized by
- Wilber Webb (Grand Pogh~Bah)
Details
There are loads of great pubs in Hammersmith right on the shore of the Thames and we're going to do our part to explore them.
The Dove is a wonderful place, loaded with history. The whole pub is a dark and comfy nook to retire to in the heat of summer, or the cold of winter.
Look out for smallest bar in England ("the snug") and the plaque in the corner of the bar to a long-dead drinker who made that little nook his own for decades. There's even a list of the great and the good who have come through the place on the wall - and its easy to see why.
Some of the best kept Fullers Beers in London and Home Counties. Look out for the "Doom" beer which is my personal favorite!
With the warmer weather and longer daylight hours these days we can take advantage of all the open seating in front. The pub welcome is always equally warm regardless. See you there!
