We meet next very close to Camberwell Green, just south of Elephant and Castle at a pub called The Castle, which is a great cosy upscale local that serves mussels and holds regular wine tastings and live Jazz acts.

Native Londoners get quite whiffy when mentioning anyplace "south of the river" (like "bridge and tunnel" for manhatteners, I suppose). I don't know why; Lots of really great neighborhoods, like this one. Come on down and sample the local atmosphere with 70 or so of your closest friends!

Directions:
The best way to get there is to take the tube to Oval then take any bus a short ride south to Camberwell Green (on Camberwell New Street) or take the 345 from north of the river to Camberwell Green.

Other buses stopping right in Camberwell Green are the 45 from Blackfriers and Kings Cross or the 12 Westminster, Oxford Street and Central London.

The pub is just past Camberwell Green on Camberwell Church Street. Can't miss it. Ask any barstaff they will know where we are!

See you there!

    •  Although I didn't arrive until after 8.00 p.m. had to come all the way from Purley, (South of Croydon), really enjoyed the meeting and met some lovely people. Look forward to the next one. Wilber was warm, welcoming and would like to congratulate him on the fantastic job he's doing with this Meet Up. I'm British, and it was good to communicate with people from the States as well as a couple of people from other part of Europe. Looking forward to the next one, perhaps "Tiger, Tiger" could be considered for those who could make it to Croydon!!!
