Hello!

As I stated in my profile, we are thinking of moving to the U.K., since we're TIRED of the CORRUPTION here (not to mention, how much we LOVE English COURTESY, etc.)...but, we must ask a few questions first (these questions may seem ignorant, but PLEASE bear w/us)!

1. Does the U.K. have a draft? (If not, PLEASE continue to answer the next couple of questions!?)

2. What towns around London are safe AND have a TRULY good school system?

3. Approximately how much American dollars is needed to purchase a home in the towns you listed above, w/the following MINIMUM criteria?: single-family 1700 sf home, w/3 bedrooms, 2 FULL baths, 2 garages, on 0.75 acres, & not on a busy road

We'd GREATLY appreciate responses from anyone who knows about these things...THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP/TIME!!!
